hey thomas,

i did get one new xsamples.pd_darwin and i added the -verbose to the start up flags. now the console reads:

input channels = 2
output channels = 2
input channels = 2
ouput channels = 2
tried /xsample/xsample.pd_darwin and failed
tried /xsample.pd_darwin and failed
xsample: cant load library

a step closer ?

ok, that's bad, there's something wrong.
Two things to try:
- in the Pd/Preferences/Startup menu (you might have to create a
patcher window first to see this), add -verbose to the startup flags
(line at the bottom) and restart pd - please tell me what the console
now says about xsample loading
- Download an xsample package for OSX from http://grrrr.org/ext/xsample
and replace the xsample.pd_darwin in the PD-extended build with the new
version.

best greetings,
Thomas
