I just think its a bit strange that both viruses that i have gotten have been from the pd list I am not sure if it's that i simple read or open all the mail from the list or what but my school account has caught all recent viruses. The wierd thing is that i got a recent trojan on my windows box from Downloading Python 22.

Eudora and Netscape/Mozilla mail are still vulnerable to viruses, but much much less so than Outlook. Yes, even linux is vulnerable to viruses, but they are exceedingly rare (they do exist though).

the only thing you can do is to make blanket requests such as, "if you are going to use outlook, please don't open attachments. p.s. rats learn faster than this"
Thankfully I have never contracted a virus through my Outlook but it does worry me that is it likely to happen sooner or later, so as a windows user can anyone say what is best option? How about Eudora? Is that any better? And before the linux people jump in and say, "Install Linux", for me this is not an option!
