Thanks!I know about having to *move* the cursor and that has always been that way. But here's what's happening on my machine now:When I'm in edit mode in one window, go to another window and then come back to the one before (w/o having left edit more), the mouse doesn't show that this window is still in edit, even though I move the mouse. I can edit everything just fine, but now it's just the normal arrow. For it show the "hand" again I have to first lock it and then go back into edit mode…It's not a big deal, but I just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this.bestMartinOn 12 December 2017 at 06:59, Dan Wilcox <danomatika@gmail.com> wrote:As a followup: When I do Pd workshops, I tell people to shake the mouse *then* look at the cursor if they aren't sure which mode they are in after changing. This was the case before 0.48 and there is really no way for it to happen with Tk that I've found. On Dec 8, 2017, at 8:47 PM, pd-list-request@lists.iem.at wrote:From: Martin Hiendl <martin@martinhiendl.com>

…also sometimes the mouse pointer doesn't update when switching into
Edit Mode (even after moving the mouse), but I can't seem to find an
exact way to reproduce it. This hasn't been that way in 0.47
