Yep, turns out there's a maximum of 20 string arguments allowed. I'll fix for the 0.34-1 update I'm working on now...

Hi,
trying to get plugin~ running, I have found a strange behaviour with with pd's (0.34 linux) startup file, ~/.pdrc in my case. It seems, that this file has an upper limit in the number of options. I can start pd with the plugin~-lib loaded in the following ways:
$ pd -path /usr/lib/pd/extra/plugin~/ $ pd -lib /usr/lib/pd/extra/plugin~/plugin~
Now I tried to put one of these in my startup file. The result are segmentation faults:
rcfile option = -lib /usr/lib/pd/externs/iemlib1 rcfile option = -lib /usr/lib/pd/externs/iemlib2 rcfile option = -lib /usr/lib/pd/externs/iem_t3_lib rcfile option = -path /usr/lib/pd/externs/iemabs rcfile option = -path /usr/lib/pd/externs rcfile option = -path /usr/lib/pd/doc rcfile option = -path /usr/lib/pd/extra/ rcfile option = -path /usr/lib/pd/extra/plugin~/ rcfile option = -alsa rcfile option = -font 10 rcfile option = -realtime rcfile option = -midiindev 22 Segmentation fault
But if I remove "-font 10" or any other option from ~/.pdrc, I can start plugin~ via the rc-file. So is there an upper limit of options, I can store in my rcfile? -- __ __ Frank Barknecht ____ ______ ____ __ trip\ \ / /wire ______ / __// __ /__/ __// // __ \ / / __ \ ___\ / / / ____/ / / / // ____// /\ \ ___\____ \ /_/ /_____/ /_/ /_//_____// / \ \_____\_____
