hi hans, list,
so there is no other way than coding an external to use this card? i thought it might work just talking to it with comport or something? if coding is necessary: do you have got any clues or hints where to start making an external for it?
thanks, max
i dont now what protocoll the device talks by default, but if it uses generic access, libusb is your friend. you may use the source from [multio] as a starting point. it is in the pd cvs, under externals/hardware
anyhow, the thing looks as it would be just the microcontroller, nothing spectacular, imho. you can achieve the same result by using a pic18f4550, probably cheaper (if you can handle a solder iron).
also, if you need something like that, i can build it for you if you like, according to your own spec's ..... did that before for others (who are happy with that, i hope), so i can do it for you as well ;-) just a week or so ago i build some kind of mini-io, allowing for 8 digi-in, 8 digi-out and 8 ad-inputs (w/ 10 bits resolution).
