If you're reading with a Phasor, I'd take the output of that (not multiplied by the number of samples) to a snapshot object, repeated by either [bang~] or a [metro(something small)]. Then feed the output of that to a hslider set to the same visual width as your array and mapped to 0 to 1. This will show you your approx current position.
