I am happy to go to Japan while PD Japan is getting started. Even though we do have a lot of people working with PD in Brazil, sometimes it feels we lack a more organized community.

BTW, are there many media art schools in Japan? I know about IAMAS, that has a strong reputation...

I and Chikashi(we are authors of Japanese Pd books) made and organize
this web site written in Japanese.
We aim Pd spread in Japan and hope Japanese people understanding Pd as
many as possible.
Pure Data Japan includes Japanese tutorials, forums, many links and
the introduction of pieces with Pd.
If you would like to introduce your works, please let us know. We will
post it in Japanese.
Reporting new links, projects are also welcome.
