hi tim, what i can remember is that there is a slight difference in syntax (arguments of the ._send method) between the official binaries that thomas put on his site and the latest "beta" version which is also on cvs - this makes it a bit tricky to use one's pyext code on different platforms with pd-extended or not. moreover i think pyext in pd-extended on osx just crashes.
thomas, i have been using the beta version for quite some time now and it seems to be pretty ok. are you waiting for something precise before releasing it as a versioned one?
