In linux with a ps3 eye camera i've reached (thanks to kaswy - ps3 eye linux driver)
75 fps @ 640*480
125 fps @ 320*240

You can use more than one camera at a time - only tried with two cameras succesfully (i've only two of this:-) -> 60 fps @ 1280*480 (used form motion tracking purpose)
(OT: the only problem I have is: how to compose the two images into one single image to feed a single pix_blob? If someone can help...)

The video quality is excellent (compared to other webcams) - a little noisy in low light but very good in normal light.

You can choose Exposure, color balance etc... (auto or manual)

The lenses have 2 zoom factor 56 and 75 degrees.
There is the possibility to hack the hardware and have a M12 lens mount on it to have a wide range of lenses.

Last, but not least: the price is very very low compared to other solutions (40 euros each).

ciao!
