hi,

i can't seem to reproduce this behaviour.

would you send me your configuration files,
releases, etc .. ?? [ off-list ]

eventually, could you try to dump the stack ??

cheers,

hi yves,

great work! this is what i need/wish/want/...

anyway: ffmpeg~ crashes if the video stream is
not started at connecting to the server.

i'm also posting the ffserver configuration file

hi,

i've released a new version of PiDiP that includes
the new pdp_ffmpeg~ object that lets you stream
video and audio to an ffmpeg server.

well, in fact, i do not recommend to stream the audio
using this object because PDP is somewhat asynchronous
and you cannot guarantee the audio will be streamed steadily.

so, better stick to the former solution and use mp3cast~
to stream audio.

0.8.2
added pdp_ffmpeg~ : stream to a ffmpeg server with possibly several
formats ( mpeg, asf, ... )
NOTE : although there is an experimental audio streaming possibility,
there are BIG synchronization issues and it's recommended to use
mp3cast~ for audio streaming.
added a ratio action in pdp_ascii
added a planes number action in pdp_quark and pdp_nervous ( plays on
speed of switching )
fixed index bug in pdp_ctrack, pdp_cmap

enjoy !!

PS : the installation of PiDiP is now getti ng rather tricky, you need :
imlib2
aalib
ffmeg : the sources
