i'm trying to use Pduino-0.5 and/or pduino-master (from reduzent) with Windows 7 and Arduino Uno. i don't get anything with [info( or [firmware( or [version(. it's possible to pulse all outputs, i.e. it's visible on Led13. toggling Led13 in Pduino only gives a short flash on the Led. the GUI in pduino-master seems to do nothing, except connecting through [comport] what am i missing? rolf

Hi everyone, two (beginner) questions regarding Pd-extended 0.43.3 on Rpi Raspbian Wheezy: - There is an I/O error message in the Pd window as there is only an audio out (but no in) on the Rpi. Just deactivating the inlet in Pd audio settings doesn’t help. ALSA is used by default. What can be done to avoid error message? However sound out works fine. - When opening a new Pd window (ctrl+n), it pops up so high in the bottom left corner of the screen, that you can not see the menu anymore. Therefore the window is not moveable or usable. Used Pd already on various PCs and OS but this I have never experienced. What can be done? Thanks! christian

Ouch More bad vibes from our list and even more seems to be simmering and emanating from within our community at the moment. What is up with this? I dunno. I must confess to also having side-stepped pd-announce with a few things over the past year or so and jumping direct to pd-list so something's not functioning correctly with all this (quite often perhaps it's just the delay in sending and waiting for it to appear that makes the poster jumpy about it getting through IME). Anyways, I'll bite. Ico, please keep posting stuff - it's interesting and good to be kept abreast. Compiling zexy in Udoo

Following the readme instructions I moved the zexy directory in the extra directory of Pd, which is in my home directory (so far so good?), then changed to directory src/ and typed "autoconf", fine, then typed "./configure" and at the end of it I got this: config.status: creating Makefile ./makesource.sh: 15: ./makesource.sh: Syntax error: "(" unexpected And when I typed "make" I got: make: *** No rule to make target `Make.source'. Application initialization failed: no display name and no $DISPLAY environment variable

Just installed Pd in my Udoo quad with sudo apt-get install puredata and all the necessary files appear to be where they should but when I type /usr/bin/puredata (or pd) I get the above message and then 'watchdog: signaling pd...' without anything else happening. I'm logging in udoo with ssh. What do I need to do?

In the changes.txt it says that indentation is four spaces? Does that mean that a click of the "tab" key is supposed to generate four consecutive spaces? I don't see any tab characters in the source (unless I'm searching them wrong.) Thanks, Jonathan

Heaven forbid we add the 50 odd lines of totally manageable code in getdir.c that have largely been working since it was released in 2005. Nobody needs to get the current canvas dir, except for the recurring request for exactly this every 6 months or so on pd-list! With that argument, the iemguis would be "badly spent lines of code". After all we don't *need* them to use pd ... pdgst and gstreamer1.x

Hi list, I'm trying to compile pdgst with gstreamer 1.0 version, with no success. Is there an easy way to achieve this ? I see the makefile is filed with 0.10 gstreamer includes, I tried replacing them with 1.0 but it gives me an error (no multichannel.h found). I guess it's not a clean way to do what I want. I'm on Ubuntu 13.10 64 bits (tried mint16 64bits also) My main reason for doing this is because I use decklinsrc a lot and with 1.0 version gstreamer added the possibility to use two of them (for what I understand) Any tips on this ? sending sound from pd to sc3?

Hi list, how can i send a signal from pd to sc3 ? I need to be able to receive the sound that pd is producing for processing in supercollider. any idea which is the best way of doing this? thanks in advance

[pix_opencv_facetracker]

Just downloaded the pix_opencv library from here http://puredata.info/downloads/pix_opencv/releases/0.2rc/view and it's supposed to include [pix_opencv_facetracker] but it actually doesn't. Is this a known issue?
