Hi all:

I am creating pd/src/pd.tcl to working on. I think the first rule that we should work on is that we don't modify any of the files directly from pd-vanilla until we agree on it. Perhaps we should also propose/host an IRC meeting to get things started?
did you commit pd.tcl? i just made a fresh check out and there is no such file. its also not here too:
https://pure-data.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pure-data/branches/pd- devel/0.41.4/src/
or am i missing something?
cheers

It's probably good to move these discussions to pd-dev so that other's can weigh in and follow the discussions, so I cc'ed pd-dev.
I never committed pd.tcl, I just was playing around so there wasn't anything to commit. I was thinking that perhaps "pd.tk" makes sense afterall. It seems that wish apps use ".tk" and tclsh scripts use ".tcl", from what I have seen.

yes, calling it ".tk" makes sense. and i think it would be a good idea to commit pd.tcl/.tk anyways, so that others can also work/commit on it, no matter how trivial the changes are.

Ok, pd.tk works for me. I see no reason to have u_main.tk file that is copied to pd.tk. So it's a race, who'll commit it first! ;)
