Message: Ok, now I figured out how to make it crash for me, you have to wait for it to crash. I was instantly opening a new window, and it wouldn't crash. When I just selected the text, then closed the About window, then waited it crashed. Now it crashes everytime. Strange...
The crash is happening in Tcl/Tk. For the 0.42 release, the plan is to switch to Tcl/Tk 8.5, let's hope that fixes it.

Message: sure, if you want, a screencast can't hurt. The directions seem pretty simple, I am guessing it is somehting with certain setups, perhaps.

Message: I haven't been able to reproduce it with Pd-extended 0.41.4-rc* on Mac OS X/Intel 10.5.6 then 10.5.7. Does it still happen for you?

Ok, I updated Tcl/Tk, and it seems to have fixed this for me. I am on Mac OS X 10.4.11/Intel running 0.40.3-extended-20080620
