ola,
To be clear, the libraries will all still be included in the package, they
just won't be loaded by default. That means you'll have load them as part of the patch using either [declare] or [import], or using namespace prefixes like [cyclone/prepend]. This puts us further towards the goal of having all of the patch settings stored in the patch itself, making it more likely to work on more computers.
computers? we speak of toasters here... i'm really annoyed that you speak from you dev point of view and don't see how many people will ask themselves : where the heck is that object?? not even having a chance to discover it by accident... and accidents make the greatest stories...
more seriously, in your 'scientific' language, it's just sucks... ( that's real science )
and you don't explain why you turned unauthorized into a lib, there was absolutely no reason for that
and also i see no progress in pd since 2 years, until it will get a real threaded gui and soundfile loader ( patches i did in 2002 ), well hey? i totally disagree with darwin, evolution is bad

If the language is an impediment, I would love to hear suggestions for how to improve it. The last thing I want to do if force Pd into the land of computer science. "namespace" seems like a pretty clear name to me, but I am not married to it.

He's not talking about the word, he's talking about the usability of the whole system.
Language is an impediment, but it's not because of the N-word, it's because of the rest of his email, and how you understand it.
