Is this combination of ./configure options known to be buggy?
no ... i'm using it ....
Sending 1 read message to [soundfiler] has no effect - no change to the data in the tables, no output from the [soundfiler] outlet, no message in the terminal window.
Sending a second read message to the same [soundfiler] crashes Pd - patch windows are non responsive, the main Pd window responds to close
(closing all Pd windows), but it doesn't exit Pd - I have to Ctrl-C then Ctrl-\ in the terminal window to quit Pd completely.
can you send me your example patch, that i can have a look at it? (without soundfile please ... 56k dialup connection)
cheers ... tim
Trying to get a working Pd with soundfiler, I checked out another copy of Pd devel_0_37, then did this:
