That much I gathered, my question was more how to make the xcode files just use the native SDK.  I am Xcode ignorant, call me Mr. Makefile ;)

The target platform needs to be updated to 10.6.  Or you can install the 10.4 SDK from the XCode disc.

I tried running a Pd-extended 0.42.5 build on Mac OS X 10.6, and got this:

cd spotlight_importer && xcodebuild

=== BUILD NATIVE TARGET PureData OF PROJECT PureData WITH THE DEFAULT CONFIGURATION (Release) ===
Check dependencies
error: There is no SDK with the name or path '/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk'
[BEROR]error: There is no SDK with the name or path '/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk'
** BUILD FAILED **

Is it possible to have it use the native SDK?
