I don't see pix_movieDarwin mentioned so you have loaded the other (old) version of pix_movie. Try changing to pix_movie to pix_movieDarwin and see if that loads and plays the movies properly.

please check whether this is related to rectangle-textures (by using
[mode 0/1( messages to [pix_texture]/[pix_movie].
