I actually just cleaned up the build system for OSCx so it works for MacOS X now. That's what brought up this issue. I made it a generalized autoconf build, so the same makefile works in GNU/Linux as well. It should also work for BSD, Cygwin and MinGW. but I haven't succeeded there yet.
