and actually, if you care for older Pd-versions, you should use
.pd_linux as the extension for Linux/amd64, as .l_amd64 is only
supported since Pd-0.49 (and we don't want to get back to that
abomination older versions of Pd would use for that platform).

I see zexy has .pd_linux for Linux/amd64 instead of .l_amd64 so I guess it's because you care :)
