Summary: GEM Windows 7 too many messages pix_texture
Initial Comment:
Vaio laptop AMD64 - Windows 7
starting my patch there's an uncountable number of messages: [pix_texture]: using mode 0: texture_2d
there used to be 1 for each subpatch using pix_texture, now there are hundreds.
i didn't notice them before because of the GL:invalid item messages

Summary: PD is making a high pitch oscillation noise
Initial Comment:
Dear Sir/Madam:
My PD version is 0.42.5, It worked fine until yesterday. The problem is indicated as below:
I put a single oscillator (osc~ or cos~) and linked to dac~. Turn on the DSP and it starts making a high pitch noise sinewave like noise even the input frequency is set to 0Hz. If I modulate the frequency and the amplitude, the background noise seems to be modulated as well.
I did the testtone and it appears to be normal with no noise.
Please help.
All the best.

Summary: gemwin each frame invald item in Windows 7
Initial Comment:
pd-ext 0.43.1-20111103 Vaio laptop AMD64 Windows 7
even without any gemhead, after [create,1( gemwin generates each frame the message "GL:invalid item".
in itself it's not an error, but the Pd-console fills up with these messages, so other one's disappear in the flood.

Summary: update version in configure.ac
Initial Comment:
the (new) configure.ac has a notion of the current version, which is passed via the AC_INIT() command.
in Pd-0.43.1 this version is still set to 0.43.0, which looks a bit weird when compiling (as the wrong version shows up)
given that this version is not really used anywhere, the attached patch is purely cosmetic (and outdated whenever applied :-)
nevertheless it would be nice if the versions could be kept in sync.
it would be even nicer if somebody could provide a bit of code that fills the AC_INIT() version into m_pd.h
