ok, as you might have noticed, i have setup the pd-cvs@iem.at. i have subscribed all [PD-dev]-members to [PD-cvs] and set the mode to digest. i think, there will be no regular (non-digest) mode for [PD-cvs] furthermore, the list is opened to members-only right now, but i think i will change this, so that only the CVS can send mails to the list in near future (so members are receivers only) furthermore, all those, that have been subscribed multiple-times to the [PD-dev]-list with some of their accounts set to "no-mail", will get [PD-cvs]-mails multiple times (because i have just grabbed all the subscribers (and not only those, that actually receive email) and put subscribed them to [PD-cvs]. this might be annoying for you, but unfortunately it is not possible for me to check all the options of 438 members by hand. please unsubscribe/modify your personal options yourself.
happy CVSing.

Thanks for making the list. As for being on this list, I would say the only people who need to be on it are those who are actively working on parts of the CVS that others also work on. It is very handy to know what people are working on when you are working. But all are welcome of course.

well, but then i would have to have a list of possible members. (for instance all those involved in the pure-data.sf.net + some additional people like miller (if he wants to)

I wasn't trying to criticize, I was just trying to expound on what this list is for, by saying that its quite optional for all but a few. (Manual list management is definitely no fun.)

yes of course. i just had no list of cvs-members and have already set up the list and have filled it with members (from pd-dev). of course i could delete all of them and fill it with the cvs-addresses (and eventually i would do it)
(Manual list management is definitely no fun.)
