This file has been edited and wqas a new conflict a had to deal with. So I redid the realignment but also fixed an error and mentioned this is being updated for 0.51 and not 0.50
I also went ahead and included an example of how to use [pdcontrol] to make openpanel open in the default directory.
I also changed the information that bang would open the 'current' directory as that wasn't accurate.

tried again to fix the power-of-two accumulation in clone when an input is
directly connected to an output. This solution is slower since it copies all
input signals before using them. But the original bug was subtle enough that,
short of a brute-force fix, it threatened to pop up in subtler ways.

signal inlets to take float messages (from inside the subpatch) to set scalar
signal values, and also to optionally sprout a second outlet to forward
messages (other than 'float') sepearately from signals.
Slight wierdness: lists are forwarded and don't activate the "float"
behavior.

revisae realign Data Strcutures examples
This finally settles it. I'm done with this. I took care now of the Data Srtructures examples. I also started taking a look at things under "7.stuff" but kinda qwuit cause it seems I don't care that much. I also gave it uop trying to organize 14.partialtracer.pd - it seems even I have a limit :)
But I think I was really able to improve readability for the Data Sructures examples...

Revising and realigning all audio examples
So, this is where I was heading to all along. I always really thought this section needed some polishing, as some examples were not fitting in the screen, some tables and comments were overlapping with other elements in the screen, and it could just look better.
I know how messing with these files may seem bold, so I really tried to be least intrusive as possible and just do my regular realiging and reorganizing things spacially.
One exception is that in adsr.pd file I removed some connections and did include a send/receive as this was the only sensible way to me to avoid crossing wires over comments and the like...
Some examples will not look much significantly different. It was only very few examples (up to 5?) that I just felt I had to change/swap some of the elements (like, moving the text to another area of the patch so it would all fit better), the vast majority just kept the same structure. If that's an issue (I just cannot really think it could be), I'll go over the whole thing and specify which ones these are.
I was able to catch a few typos and little mistakes. One, for instance, is that E03.octave.divider.pd had a message for loading a so called "../../saucisse.wav" file that doesn't really exist, so I removed it. see https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/blob/f9b0ad81387d4af3091857dc16852e2…
Some of the abstractions used in the examples had comments saying they were loaded in examples that don't really exist anymore so I fixed that too.
Anyway, there are other issues I didn't really address yet, as I thouhgt it would be best to make separate commits for them. This is just a massive block of simple and non intrusive "fixes" that I think really improve the reading of patches.
I'll double checxk to see if I eventually corrupted something, but it's quite unlikely.
by the way, sorry for going totally anal about all of this... I just had to :/
cheers

revise control examples
This commit just reorganizes and realigns all the patchesa in the control example folder. Virtually no edits were made. All I ever did was make it a little bit more explicit that objects like [trigger] and [float] can be abbreviated in the example patches.
I the review part, I also just put the information that you can see all of Pd objects by right clicking on an empty spot and get help.
I remember I also told that in 17.PART3.midi.pd you could see all of pd's midi objects by getting the help of any of the objects in the example patch.
And that was it!

Update pd-help.pd
Pd help seems to have been used as the help file of 'subpatches' (as in the 'pd' object). But this is not true anymore, as the canvas-help.pd file is now responsible to document subpatches.
Thus, I removed the implications that pd-help.pd was meant to be the documentation of [subpatch], and I just have [pd] included in the "see also" section.

For the unpack, I added the information that you can have creation arguments with 'float'/'symbopl'/'pointer', because it only mentioned you could have the abbreviation ('f'/'s'/'p').
I also realogned and reorganized. And now I've revised all of Pd help files.
This was a quick round that cared most about realigning things. I could give it another round that would think about the contents and look for errors or other information that could be added.

Update x_all_guis.pd
I'm using the new [hradio] and [vradio] objects instead the old [vdl]/[hdl] that shouldn't be used anymore...
anyway, I just noticed you can't use the properties of [vdl]/[hdl], but whio cares since they're supposed to be replaced, right?

Update my_canvas-help.pd
I made it clearer what's the deal with setting the colors. The patch was using bioth 2nd and 3rd argument of the color message to set the 'label' color. So I removed the 2nd to only use the 3rd. I also made it clearer that the behaviour change was that this used to be the 2nd argument in esrlier versions of Pd, as it wasn't clear at all what changed!

Update numbox2-help.pd
changed font size, reorganized and realigned things.
Removed the [pd once] example as I don't think it's pertinent (like in the vsl/hsl examples)
Moreover, I realized it implies the object can be called as "numbox", but it can't. this is implied in the top left canvas "numbox=nbx". The actual creator is "my_numbox", so I fixed it and changed it to "my_numbox=nbx".

revision of bng vslider/hslider
Again, just changing the font size and reorganizing and realigning things a bit.
Now, I get the usewfulness of the [pd once] example for the bng help file, maybe you just want a bang to fire only once... but I don't see the point of that in the sliders, so I removed that example, that's the main edit that I did...

hradio
where to start? This is also another help file with a font size of 10 that I'm changing to 12, but there's more going on.
There's an extra, old and redundanct help file here named 'hdial' that is not being used, so I'm just getting rid of it.
I also corrected an error that said "gui-vertical dial", but this is horizontal, and I think 'dial' is not to be used anymore, so I changed it to "gui horizontal radio".
I also reorganized and realigned things and changed some silly things, like having a float into a "$1" message then somewhere else. I got rid of that "$1" message because it was completely useless.
I guess this is because of this https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/blob/fe7d40ebf75ad4ac31f67b52ae99485…
but the thing is you can't create the [hdial] objects anymore, so I'm just letting it go...

update fudiformat/fudiparse documentation
This one also had a smaller font size, but they also looked pretty harsh on the eye.
I added a little bit of information, saying what "fudi" is and stands for. I also added information about the -u flag in fudiparse and when the object and documentation was added/modified for both - as usual in all pd help files (in this case it was "updated for Pd 0.48.0)

change font size of exp~ and reorganize it
The vast majority of help patches in Pd have a font size of 12, before reorganizing and realigning all other help patches, I'm just trying to find all the exceptions that have a smaller font size of 10 (exp~) is one of them.
So, again, no editing of information.

documentation updates
for adc~/dac~ I explicitly added the information that, by default, the loaded channels are 1 & 2 (it was just saying it was "stereo by default", but didn't specify which channels were loaded.
The other two files (acoustics/acoustic~) I didn't really change anything, just reorganized it a little with the spacings for presumably better looks.
I plan to do this kind of revision for all help patches now, here we go!
