I googled "Compile gem pure data linux" and the first result for me was this old document https://puredata.info/docs/old/FAQ/HowDoIInstallGEMAndPdOnLinux/ Of course these instructions are incomplete and outdated. I not that it's already filed under "old" but should it also be deleted in order to stop places linking to it?

hmm, a better solution is probably to just add /docs/old/ to robots.txt
