hello,
did anyone know a gem friendly video codec with alpha channel?
i tried the video posted in a previous thread (24/05/2013) using pnga codec and pd crash.
thanks and cheers Cyrille
if pd crashes when playing a video, this is a bug could you report it on github and if possible with a backtrace ?

hello,
a long ago, I used Planar RVB or Plan RVB also called 8BPS in a .mov file on mac os in GEM to have transparency http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=8BPS the compression was done in finalcut from videos that had been recorded with a green background > alpha channel
