Hi, the new release crashes when I send [codeclist( message, with the pd-extended binary it it gives (null) for each codec, then I still can't use pix_record on w32, if some components has to be installed, I've no clue about what are they.

you need QuickTime installed. however, it shouldn't crash if you don't have it installed...

QuickTime player is installed and same message crashes PureData, do I need a particular version?
PS: this is happening on windows vista.

i don't know; i compiled Gem with QuickTime 7.2 (iirc). it should say something about initializing quicktime when you [create( the gemwindow.
i guess, you are clicking the [codeclist( _after_ you created the window, right?

i hope that i will not be able to test that for some more time :-)

i have uploaded a new version of the w32-binaries that have hopefully the [codeclist( crash fixed.
http://gem.iem.at/releases/0.91/
however, it still is not working exactly how i imagine it...
