hello,
on linux, the device selection depend on the way you compile Gem. the DV camera can be the "device 0, 1 or 2" depending if you have v4l and v4l2.
So, the same patch does not work the same way depending on the computer your using it.
it would be nice to create an alias for the device selection so that "device DV" is always connected to the correct driver.
what do peoples think of this, and should i fill a feature request?
