Back in January and February there was talk of funding development for GEM. Did anything ever come of this?
I know there was discussion of which platform to use but it appears to have stalled. Any way to pick up the pace again?
Kind regards,
Antonio

Sure, I guess it's up to anyone to pick it up. I'd like to see that as I gave some money to it
Kind regards,
Antonio

Somehow I'm not surprised but also disappointed :-(

And so the wait continues...

hmm. it could be *you* who organizes the fundraiser. there is no special developer knowledge required (and of course i will happily answer any technical questions - if nobody else beats me to it).
however, whoever organizes this must get to know the actual platform where this will be carried out. (this is where i fall out of the loop).

For sure! What I suggested before, which may be different from what was originally proposed, is that the funding supports a developer to develop the software, instead of the funding going towards the (non-existent) Pure Data "company".
Examples of this Can be seen from GIMP: https://www.patreon.com/zemarmot https://www.patreon.com/pippin
And Inkscape: https://www.patreon.com/marcjeanmougin https://www.patreon.com/tavmjong
Does this approach seem good?
