hmm, that's even weirder, if it's the one from chris that has glew built in (but without checks)
obviously glew detects correctly that you have the GLSL extensions needed, but the function-pointers are still NULL. (it works fine on my laptop with a geforce4MX, which does NOT have the extensions: i cannot run the patches (due to the missing extensions) but it doesn't crash)
could you please post the output of glewinfo.exe (which is part of the glew-distribution to be found at http://glew.sourceforge.net/)

yep, shaders are supported fine. could you post the output of pd when it crashes?
