hi again,

i found that one out too, i still hope its not a os issue but can be
configured
in pd!!!! and you are right its actually 200 images per go

most likely it is a bug in Gem (or - unlikely - one of ist auxiliary libraries).
most likely you will not be able to "configure" this from within Pd.

a workaround for now, _might_ be to use [pix_buffer] to read the images).
i say "might" because this object might trigger the same bug as well.

sorry forgot to post my specs:
os: windows xp professional, service pack 3
pd: ver. 0.40.3-extended
gem: ver. 0.91(included in pd extended)

thanks.

which kind of images are you trying to load (jpeg, tif,...?)

thx for the fast answer, i will try that one out with pix_buffer,
and download the newest version of gem, which is
0.91.3, hope it will work!!!!!
ah...it's .tif sequences, due to the included alpha channel
which i need!
