The error you are getting is so basic that either there is no available hardware or driver to access the hardware for GEM to use. The only other time this error happens is when running a machine without a display attached at boot time. For some reason the Apple GL drivers disable hardware rendering when running 'headless'.

Is that what that "MAC: no info.context" is about, no OpenGL?
The AppleTV has an nVidia GeForce go7300 GPU, which should I think support
OpenGL 2.0 (There is a video on youtube of someone supposedly playing
Marathon Aleph One using OpenGL on his AppleTV).
If this is definatly the case, I will have to then start to find what is
preventing openGL from being loaded (?).
