Initial Comment: a black border is showing around the edges of the framebuffer on osx, both in rectangle 1 and rectangle 0 mode. this is clearly visible when changing the texture coordinates. the patch attached can reproduce the bug, this image shows the output of that patch on osx: http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/9208/texturei.png

Message: according to the bug 3281206 discution, Gem did use GL_CLAMP, better then GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE on framebuffer until recently. so, it would be interesting to test the attached patch on recent osX build.
