Hello,

Is there someone who has installed BumbleBee on its Linux to activate
its NVidia graphic card (with Optimus) and has succeeded to use Gem with
it.
I would like to know how i can do to use Gem with my NVidia GT555M (with
Optimus).
https://github.com/MrMEEE/bumblebee
I can launch application glxspheres that use the NVidia graphic card with :
$ optirun glxspheres
sounds like you should be able to launch Pd with
$ optirun pd-gem

i guess that optirun is a script that sets some environment variables in
order to force the use of some spcial libraries that activate the nvidia
card.
i don't see a problem with using pd/Gem in this context.

Hello IOhannes,
I can launch without problem :
$ optirun pd-gem
But when i open my patch, i get  this message :
/usr/bin/optirun : ligne 239 :  2213 Erreur de segmentation  vglrun -c "$VGL_COMPRESS" -d "$VGL_DISPLAY" -ld "$VGL_DRIVER" -- "$@"
I think it is a problem from optirun.
Thanx anyway.

PS : i try with an other patch, and Pd crash when i create a simple geo (like cube).
