Hallo!
how many images are you working with?
not much, only 2 as a static "background" (for this I would use pix_image) and then I have to load every 2 min. 10-40 images in a pix_buffer ...

I just spent two days figuring out how to make a seekable mpeg file from a 100,000 jpegs. faster than pix_image, and less memory than pix_buffer or pix_multimage.
could work for you...

Hallo gem-devs!
I also need pix_image now and so I wanted to ask, if I can remove the Cache from pix_image (because, as I discussed with IOhannes offline, it seems that there is the memory leak ...)
Because if you need lots of picture you have now pix_buffer, so the Cache of pix_image is not needed anymore ...
What do you think about that? (if you think it's no good I idea I will simply use pix_buffer or pix_multiimage, but ...)
