well, there is no native 64bit binary of Gem for w32 (nor of Pd afaik). so you are running an application with 32bit pointers, which cannot address more than 4GByte.

on linux we have a native 64bit binary of pd/Gem, which has 64bit pointers, capable of addressing ...sufficient memory :-)
Yep, seems the same on MacOSX.
afaik, there is a 64bit build machine setup somewhere by max, but the PdLab page states "help wanted".
Too complex for me and i have not enough time. I will reduce the resolution of the movie on Windows. Thanx for the explaination. ++
